If you are an Instagram addict like me, then Pasir Ris is a town you will love. There are so many hidden photogenic gems just waiting to be uncovered. If your reaction at the end of this article is ‘Wah’, then I have proved myself right.

1. Pasir Ris Town Park (Pasir Ris Central, 510534)

Fool your friends and let them think that you are in some fishing paradise. When in reality, you are just hanging out at Pasir Ris Town Park (it is okay, they do not need to know that).

2. Pasir Ris Waterfront (near Block 408 Pasir Ris Drive 6)

The Pasir Ris Waterfront is a little like the picturesque canals in Amsterdam. A bit of a stretch, I know, but wow, what a view!

3. 410 Pasir Ris Drive 6, Singapore 510410

Move aside Boracay and Maldives, for this ‘resort’ in Pasir Ris. This unique block surrounded by tall palm trees and lush greenery looks like it belongs in a beach paradise!

4. Elias Mall, 625 Elias Road, 510625

Since everyone is taking photos of the dragon playground, stay ahead of the pack and visit the ‘sampan’  playground instead.

5. Pasir Ris Maze Garden (near Pasir Ris Park Area 2)

There is also the Maze Garden, which is my favourite spot. If you want to recreate the feeling of getting ‘lost’ overseas exploring unknown corners and places, this spot is perfect because you will surely get lost within the maze of green vegetation. But it is fun, so do not miss out on it!

So hurry down to Pasir Ris before hipsters start swarming the place, and you end up with shots like this…
