Drawing inspiration from everyday moments and Singapore’s cultural landscape, Jayne’s work is vibrant, whimsical, and rich with storytelling. She finds inspiration in slow kopi breaks, wandering through nature, and visiting local art spaces—always on the lookout for little details that make Singapore feel like home.
Applicability of the Terms
i. These Terms shall apply to:
(a) Any person who attempts, completes or participates (“User”) in the HDB+Me quiz (“Quiz”) from the Housing and Development Board (“HDB”), regardless of whether the User participates in the HDB+You Giveaway (“Giveaway”) organized by HDB; and
(b) All persons taking part in the Giveaway (each a “Participant, and collectively the “Participants”).
If any User or Participant does not agree to be bound by these Terms, he or she shall neither proceed with attempting, completing or participating in the Quiz nor take part in the Giveaway.
ii. By accessing or attempting the Quiz, each User agrees to be bound by these Terms, regardless of whether he or she eventually becomes a Participant. For the avoidance of doubt, each User’s participation in the Quiz does not per se mean that the User becomes a Participant.
Giveaway
1. Save as provided in Clause 2, the Giveaway is open to all individual Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents residing in Singapore only, who are: (i) aged eighteen (18) years old and above as at the start of the Giveaway Period (as defined below) and have full legal capacity to accept and be bound by the Terms. Participants below the age of eighteen (18) years old are not allowed to participate in the Giveaway.
2. Employees of HDB and immediate family members of HDB’s employees (i.e. parents, siblings, spouse and children) are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway.
3. By participating in the Giveaway, each Participant represents and warrants that he or she has met the eligibility criteria stated in the Terms.
4. All Participants shall participate in the Giveaway during the time period for participation (“Giveaway Period”) as stipulated in the Giveaway post on HDB’s Instagram page at @SingaporeHDB. HDB reserves the right to amend the Giveaway Period at any time before or during the Giveaway Period.
5. All Participants shall complete the following steps to participate in the Giveaway:
(a) set their Instagram profile to public if they have not already done so;
(b) follow the HDB Instagram account at @SingaporeHDB;
(c) complete the HDB+Me quiz on the MyNiceHome website (link: https://www.mynicehome.gov.sg/campaigns/2025/hdb65-quiz/)(“Quiz”); and
(d) share the results page at the end of the Quiz on their Instagram account as an Instagram Story using the “Add Yours” sticker found in the Story Highlights of @singaporehdb’s Instagram profile (“Instagram Story Submission”).
Use of Content from Quiz and other Obligations
6. Save as expressly provided in these Terms and any other instructions from HDB, all Users and Participants may save their Quiz results or the results page at the end of the Quiz for their personal and non-public use only and shall not use the same for any other purposes without HDB’s prior written consent.
7. All Quiz results or the results page at the end of the Quiz or any content or part thereof taken or obtained from the Quiz shall be shared in its original form as generated by the User or Participant without any modifications. All Users and Participants shall not modify any Quiz results or the results page at the end of the Quiz. In particular, there shall be no modification to the Quiz results or the results page at the end of the Quiz to:
(a) include any enhancements, changes, alterations or manipulation generated or processed using artificial intelligence, machine learning algorithms, or automated computational systems (“AI Technology”);
(b) include obscene content;
(c) contain offensive or abusive language;
(d) promote hate speech or discriminatory content; and/or
(e) violate any Terms or rules and guidelines set by Instagram,
8. All Users and Participants shall not publish, share, distribute or otherwise make public such modified Quiz results or the results page at the end of the Quiz that contains content described in Clause 7(a)-(e).
9. All Users and Participants shall not:
(a) process any image or content or part thereof taken or obtained from the Quiz using AI Technology or make attempts to do so; and
(b) integrate or combine the Quiz’s output with any AI Technology or make attempts to do so.
10. Each Participant may make multiple Instagram Story Submissions but is only entitled to win one (1) prize in the Giveaway.
11. Any proof that is furnished by any Participant as evidence of their Instagram Story Submission(s) shall not constitute evidence of HDB having seen, recorded or accepted the Participant’s Instagram Story Submission(s). HDB shall bear no liability for:
(a) any delay, error or omission in viewing, receiving, recording or verifying any Participant’s Instagram Story Submission(s) before their expiration;
(b) any Instagram Story Submission(s) that are not properly uploaded, shared or made public on the Participant’s Instagram account;
(c) any Instagram Story Submission(s) that become inaccessible due to Instagram’s functionality, features or policies;
(d) any technical malfunction, error or limitation of the Instagram platform; and/or
(e) any consequential loss or damage arising from the circumstances mentioned in (a) – (d).
12. Participants shall participate in the Giveaway by making an Instagram Story Submission using their personal Instagram account only and shall not submit entries or participate on behalf of other persons.
13. Winning Participants will be contacted by HDB via the direct message function on Instagram after the Giveaway Period.
14. There will be twenty (20) winning entries for the Giveaway. Each Winning Participant will receive a set of HDB merchandise, including a sticker pack, a pair of socks, and a set of charms.
15. The Winning Participants will be selected by HDB in its sole and absolute discretion based on the Instagram Story Submissions received.
16. HDB will mail the prizes to the Winning Participants based on the contact particulars that they provide to HDB after the Giveaway Period. HDB shall bear no liability should the prizes fail to reach any Winning Participants due to any act or omission of the courier or delivery vendor or for any other reason.
17. HDB may, without notice and at any time, substitute any prize with a prize of similar value as determined by HDB in its sole and absolute discretion. The prizes are given out on an “as is” basis, and are not transferable, or exchangeable or redeemable for cash. To the extent not prohibited by law, all warranties and representations in connection with the prizes are expressly excluded.
18. Participants shall ensure that they remain contactable at all times via the direct message function on Instagram or the contact particulars they provide to HDB. If HDB fails to contact any Winning Participant for any reason whatsoever, HDB may at its sole and absolute discretion select another Winning Participant in accordance with the Terms.
19. HDB may, at their sole discretion, modify the Terms or cancel the Giveaway, without prior notice to any person. HDB’s decisions on all matters relating to this Giveaway will be final and binding on all Participants, and no correspondence on HDB’s decisions shall be entertained.
20. Where any Winning Participants do not respond within one (1) month to HDB’s attempt to contact them via the direct message function on Instagram or the contact particulars they had provided to HDB, their prizes shall be deemed to be conclusively forfeited and the forfeited prizes shall be dealt by HDB in its sole and absolute discretion.
21. HDB may disregard or disqualify any Instagram Story Submission, Participant or Winning Participant in its sole and absolute discretion, without giving notice or reason, and without any liability to any person. HDB reserves the right to disqualify any User or Participant who: (i) tampers with the operation of the Giveaway; (ii) procures another person to participate in the Giveaway with intent to create any prejudice or anomaly in the operation of the Giveaway; and/or (iii) breaches these Terms or any other applicable laws or regulations.
22. Each User and Participant permits and consents to HDB and its representatives collecting, using, and disclosing all contact information and personal data provided by each User and Participant for the purposes of conducting and administering the Quiz and the Giveaway, including but not limited to the following:
(a) conducting verification of the identities of the Users and Participants;
(b) processing, handling and managing the Participants’ participation in the Giveaway;
(c) facilitating the mailing of the prizes to the Winning Participants and other actions in connection with the Giveaway (including but not limited to the actions stated in these Terms); and
(d) data analysis and processing of the Quiz and the Giveaway.
Each User and Participant acknowledges that any information, personal data and material about or obtained from the User and Participant may be accessed, stored or otherwise processed in any medium or form determined by HDB, and may be transmitted across national borders for storage and/or processing.
23. This Giveaway is governed by Singapore law and each User and Participant shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.
24. Each User and Participant acknowledges that the Quiz and the Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram.
25. HDB does not make any warranty or representation with regard to the security of the Instagram platform and its contents, the access to and use of information captured or made available through the Instagram platform or the accuracy, reliability, completeness or suitability of any information contained in, made available or exchanged through the Instagram platform. Further, HDB does not make any warranty that access to the Instagram platform will be provided uninterrupted or free from errors or that any identified defect will be corrected or that the contents of the Instagram platform are free from any computer virus or other malicious, destructive or corrupting code, programs or macro that may affect any programme, equipment, system or property.
26. HDB shall not be held liable for any loss or damage sustained by any User and Participant arising out of and/or in connection with:
(a) attempting, completing and/or participating in the Quiz; and/or
(b) participating in the Giveaway.
27. Should any dispute arise in connection with any User’s attempt of the Quiz or any Participant’s participation in the Giveaway and/or compliance with these Terms, HDB’s decisions on the same shall be final and binding and no correspondence on HDB’s decisions shall be entertained.
